The story isn't
up yet, but we had a great day on this rather long run at low water.
The first image is of Jonas Grunwald running one of the
larger
and more commonly portaged rapids of the run. Don't worry I walked it,
but I do like the chaotic element of the riverbed.
The second is one of my favorite images in a very long time. I managed to leave the car keys at put-in, which happens to be seven miles down a dirt road and all told, an hour and a half from take out. Arriving at take-out around six-thirty, we knew it would be a long wait. Just over three hours later I was taking lifestyle shots around the campfire right as Daniel Brasuell pulled up. You can kind of feel the eager anticipating of warm cloths and a real meal, and of course hearing about the shuttle adventure.
