The Spirit of Adventure

Somehow float planes just reek with the spirit of adventure. So this is
a kayaking wallpaper without any kayaking in it. After saying goodbye,
our pilot took off and did an unexpected fly by while we were still
standing on the beach after a memorable trip on the Homathko River in
British Columbia. I wasn't ready for the shot, but when I heard the
plane getting closer I knew something was going to happen and got as
ready as I could. A key element to capturing on the go; anticipation of
the moment.
Last year I did a big production and put a lot of time and
effort into making a calendar, having it printed and distributing it
myself. It was too much work for no monetary gain. I wasn't planning on
doing one for 2012, but a few inquires about one came my way so I made
