It's easy to fall into a
rut; find a great angle to shoot a rapid from and repeat shooting the
same spot time and time again. Keeping things fresh means doing
something different. In this case I shot from the river left side of
Spike, which required a good bit of climbing through poison oak to get
a vantage point, but doing so gave me a new perspective on a rapid that
has seen plenty of media. Moral of the story is obvious, try something
new instead of repeating what you have done before.
