Ben Marr's descent of the last un-run rapid on the Stikine
has put the river in the spotlight recently. Absolute respect to him
for running such a terrifying, long, multi-move rapid. To me running a
rapid like Site Zed is the essence of kayaking. I like waterfalls and
all, but they are a bit more of a stunt than running big water in
control. Some images were missing from my
Stikine
write-up so I went back through and fixed them, and in the
process decided to do a Stikine desktop wallpaper. Above, Charlie
Center runs "The Wall 2". It's going up today because I'll be out of
town helping family next week, so no updates for a bit.
