Thanks for the supportive words
on the guidebook. It's obviously a work in progress and still quite a
ways out. Many of the key runs I have not personally done are in the
Southern Sierra, but with our current snowpack this probably won't be
the year to do them. I'm not yet sure if that will delay the book or
not.
The disappointment of seeing a kayaking magazine use a GoPro shot
as cover was inevitable, but nearly the same shot, well I can't
articulate those feelings.

So far I've been very happy with the Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f/4 for the A7.
It just produces nicer images than most other zooms, even if it is soft
in the corners at 24mm.
